No, the Dragoos are still currently in Alpha Development.
There are no announced dates for Beta or Launch at this time. We are still currently in Alpha Development. We'll keep the community notified as soon as we're ready for a Beta.
You just pick up a Beta pack when they're released. The Beta will be an Open Beta where anyone on the grid can participate. Each Avi will be allowed at least one Beta pack. There are no signups or requirements.
Yes. But they're completely optional and are not required nor do they give any special access. You would only purchase a pre-order pack if you'd like the rewards that come along with each pack.
1 month before the Official Launch.
No. There are no current plans to make the current Companions become breedable. However, you will be able to attach / wear the breedable Dragoos when they launch. In some cases, this will be required for certain quests and activities involving your Dragoos.
No! Absolutely not. Dragoos has no need for storing or using IP addresses. IP storing and tracking has been completely removed from our website's Auth system and Database.
The Dragoos will use a tree based breeding system with a little random chance. You'll need to fill out pure trees with a particular trait for a chance at unlocking a new trait. In rarer cases you might notice an unlock happen by pairing certain traits. You might also see certain surprise drops that happen throughout the year.
No. Dragoos are based on a set number of offspring (10) that each Dragoo is allowed to have. The age is unlimited. In fact if you want to... you can breed a certain number of offspring, put the Dragoo in your inventory for years, pull it back out, heal it / feed it and then breed the remaining offspring.
Dragoos will have up to 10 offspring.
No there is no plan at this time for an offspring boost. That's not to say we can't do that in the future.
Under normal circumstances, you won't need to. A Dragoo will automatically become "Eternal" after it's final offspring. However, if you want to make a Dragoo Eternal before it's final offspring.. you'll need to purchase an Eternal Potion from the Shop.
No. Dragoos cannot die. But they can get sick.
If you have just purchased a Dragoo it will immediately vanish. As long as you don't rez it / redeliver it for the first time from your HUD, Website or Delivery object... the Dragoo will not get sick. However.. if you, the new owner, rez the Dragoo for the first time (whether from HUD, Web or Redelivery)... then any time you pick it up after that.. it will get Sick in your inventory.
A Dragoo will get sick after 4 days of no eating.
You would purchase a Healing Potion from the Shop and use it on your sick Dragoo. Once the Dragoo is healed... it will instantly consume whatever food it's missing. So make sure you have food in your account prior to healing. If you heal but don't have food... the Dragoo will go back to being sick after a small wait.
Stats like Love will freeze where they are when a Dragoo is picked up into inventory.
Sort of. Dragoos have a Love stat. That Stat must reach 100% for a Dragoo offspring to be birthed. After the offspring appears, the Love stat will reset to 0%.
Dragoos will take 5 days for their Love to reach 100% with no boosts. If you're boosting, you can drop that to no less than 4 days.
5 days. However, there will be a craftable consumable that has the ability make a Dragoo an Adult instantly. But the ingredients for such an item will be extremely rare.
Yes. There will definitely be a Points system for trading in Live Dragoos and Eggs. The Points will vary depending on various factors such as Egg / Live status, number of Offspring, Age and Forever Pets. We're also working on an object that allows Mass Trading for Dragoos that are within a certain range of it.
You'll be able to use your Points to purchase LEs, Point Only LEs and items to aid in the efficiency of breeding like an Egg Attractor that pulls all of your Eggs to it. There's also the plan to have limited time Points items in rotation that will give you a boost in various Activities.
Yes most will be.
Nothing changes. All stats will freeze until the new owner rezzes the Dragoo for the first time.
You cannot sell a Dragoo in the typical way. You will use the "Sell" button on your HUD and get a dialog box to input your price. When you type your price and click Done the Dragoo will put itself into Market mode. Once in Market mode.... the Dragoo become a Vendor. Once someone purchases the Dragoo... it will disappear and the new owner can redeliver from the HUD, Website or Ancient Chest (Redelivery Box).
To purchase a Dragoo.. you'll need to touch it and pay / buy the Dragoo. It will disappear. You can rez / redeliver the Dragoo from your HUD, the Website or your Ancient Chest (Redelivery Box).
Yes you will be able to visit and use the Marketplace on the Dragoos website to both search for and list your Dragoos related items. This includes Dragoos, transferable consumable items and any other transferable items related to Dragoos. Any transferable item that's related to Dragoos should be able to be found and sold on the Dragoos Marketplace. For Dragoos, you'll be able to narrow down your search by various traits, gender, status (egg or live), etc.
Yes! The Dragoos web interface will show you every Dragoo you own and it's searchable by traits! You'll also be able to use the Dragoos website to redeliver a Dragoo so you don't have to go searching your inventory!
One of the features we're working on for the Dragoos web interface is your Virtual Inventory. These are items that you've collected through the various activities related to Dragoos. For example.. if you've just caught a fish and you use a crafting station to convert it into crafting ingredients... those crafting ingredients will go to your virtual inventory. The crafting system will pull ingredients from your virtual inventory if they're available. If you'd like to sell ingredients, you can use the web interface to choose which item you'd like to sell, the quantity and price. When you click sell... an ingredient container will be delivered near your delivery object that contains whatever you wanted to sell. The container will already be set for sell and the items will subtracted from your virtual inventory and placed in sale status. When the next owner purchases the item... it'll be transferred from sale status to their virtual inventory. Note: this is the initial plan and subject to slight changes.
The Dragoos will have numerous Activities like Quests, Fishing, Gathering, Crafting, Combat, etc. The Activities will vary in how you interact. Some will be Player Activities and some will require your Dragoo to be attached so that it can perform the Activity. For Player Activities, we're working on a system that will reward your Dragoo experience points when you have it attached during the Activity. This will in turn increase your Dragoo's level and have a positive impact on it's breeding outcomes and effectiveness at Dragoo centric Activities.
There will be Crafting Stations located at the Main Region. These Crafting Stations will vary in type such as a Cooking Station, Potions Station, Forge Station, Spellcrafting Station and quite possibly a Fitting / Accessories Station. When you use a Crafting Station to convert an item into Ingredients, those Ingredients will be sent to your Virtual Inventory. When you use a Crafting Station to craft an item, the required ingredients (if available) will be automatically consumed from your Virtual Inventory.
Yes. The goal is to make every crafted item (if possible) transferable. In the case of items with durability / limited use. Those items will only be transferable if they haven't been used.
It's early to say how many craftable Potions there will be and what each one will do. But one Potion we do have planned is the Rapid Age Potion. This particular Potion will allow you to instantly age a Dragoo to Adult age after birth. The ingredients for this Potion will be very rare and can be found through various Activities. But if you can craft this Potion, you have the option to use it or list it for sale. We hope this will create new opportunities for the community to generate extra income.
Yes, for those that have chosen to rez them. But using Crafting Stations at Affiliate Markets will come with a slight decrease in speed, yield, luck, etc. You'll come out slightly better if you craft at the Main Region.
Fishing will require you to either purchase a Basic Fishing Pole or discover / drop a more advanced Fishing Pole from doing Activities. For Bait, you'll either purchase the Basic Fishing Bait from the shop, craft Fishing Bait at a Crafting Station or find various types of rare Fishing Bait from doing Activities. You'll be able to use special / rare Charms on your Fishing Pole to increase various stats such as Luck, Speed, Durability and Yield. The Charms can be found by doing various Activities. Each Fishing Pole has a Durability. Each use of the Pole will decrease your Pole's Durability. We have plans to add a Repair Station, but it will only be able to fix your Durability to a certain percentage and it can only be fixed once. Your Fishing Pole will eventually break and you'll have to use a new one. Each time you cast your pole, you have the chance to pull various items like Ingredients, Essences, Consumable Items and other Loot. There is a chance that your cast won't result in a bite and you'll pull nothing.
Yes, if they've opted to have Fishing. But Fishing at an Affiliate Market will come with a slight decrease in speed, luck, yield, etc. Fishing at the Main Region will give you a slight increase in those areas.
Dragoos Quests will vary in type. Some Quests will be Exploration Quests that involve traveling to different Areas and Regions and interacting with NPCs or gathering Items to complete Tasks. Other Quests will involve doing certain Activities to fulfill Tasks. Some Quest Tasks may require a Dragoo to be attached.
Dragoos Combat will be Spell based Combat. We aim to have PvE and PvP Combat. You'll be able to use a consumable Essence on your Dragoos to give them a specific type of Magical Energy. We're working on a system that will allow you to use consumable Spells on your Dragoos that will give them a specific type of Magical Ability if the Spell matches their Magical Energy. Example: Fire Spells can only be consumed by Dragoos that have been given Fire Magic via the Fire Essence. The goal is to allow players to build and focus their Dragoos in whichever way they choose. Which Combat type you choose is also completely up to you. For PvE Combat you can choose to go solo and have your Dragoo fight NPCs for Loot. Or you may choose to team up with your friends to take on a Boss that will yield greater rewards. For PvP Combat, you'll be able to take on opponent Dragoos in 1v1 matches. Larger matches such as 3v3 or 5v5 might also be possible in the future. Dragoos Combat is interactive spell based Combat. So in any scenario (PvE or PvP), you'll have to manually cast and dodge attacks from your opponent. There have been discussions about adding craftable Armor and Accessories with Limited Durability that will increase the Combat Effectiveness of your Dragoos on top of their Experience / Level.
