Gone Too Soon

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the tragic news that our dear friend and treasured teammate, Tara Despres, passed away Saturday July 12th. Tara was a beautiful soul. She touched us all, both personally and professionally, with her kindness, dedication, and light.

Tara was a loving wife and an extraordinary mother to her two beautiful daughters. A cherished member of the Dragoos team, Tara's enthusiasm was contagious, and it was an absolute honor to work alongside her. Her passing leaves a void that can't be filled. As her friends and colleagues, we are profoundly saddened by her loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Companion

To honor Tara’s memory and offer our support to her family during this difficult time, Springlab Games will be releasing a special limited-edition Animesh Companion. While we aren’t ready to reveal all the details just yet, we can share that this Companion will not be a Dragoo. But it will be something especially close to Tara’s heart. An adorable creation inspired by something she truly loved. All proceeds from this release will go directly to Tara’s husband and daughters, helping to support them in the days ahead. We'll post details as soon as the release is ready.

Final Thoughts

This loss just further reminds me of how precious life is. It makes me pause and thank God for every single day that I'm able to wake up and see my beautiful family. That I'm able to see my children, hug them and tell them how much I love them. Life is far too short. So we have to make the most of it while we're here. I will. I hope you will too. Love each other.
